My friend and I had the extraordinary opportunity to spend two months in Florence. Our stay was a wonderful experience and Borgo Pinti 2 enhanced our enjoyment and became a home away from home. Claudia warmly greeted us when we arrived and had supplied us with a lot of necessary staples - such as bread, milk, coffee, eggs, olive oil and delicious fruits and vegetyables from her own garden. The apartment was comfortable, homey, and very well equipped. Being there for 2 months, I did a lot of cooking and I found everything I needed in the kitchen area. If Iever had a question or concern Cl;audia quickly responded to my e-mail and readily remedied the situation The location of the apartment is perfect for seeing all the sites and only a short walk to the train and bus station to travel to other cities or to a small Tuscan town. We also had the opportunity ti visit Claudia and Arnaldo at their beautiful farmhouse in Panzano. They were very gracious hosts and we felt right at home. I could go on and on, but I will just conclude by saying that your stay here will not be a disappointment. Thank you Claudia and Arnaldo for your kindness and friendship. We hope to return soon!!!

Claudia is like my childrens grandmother. They talk about here all the time!

We had the best days of our trip in Florence. The flat is excellent and Claudia (sorry about this) is the best tour guide in the region. We spent 15 days in France and Italy, but nothing compared to the hospitaly of Claudia and Arnoldo. We thank you so much for the great memorable trip. I can't wait for you guys to come to the states so we can recipricate. I know this isn't the greatest review of the flat (although it was very nice and spacious) but its about the people. Visiting with Claudia and Arnoldo was the highlight of our whole trip. God Bless.

My family of five were delighted with Borgo Pinti 2 - a home away from home. As well as being wonderfully located the apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless and all necessities (and more) are provided. It offers an authentic experience of living fabulously in Florence. We were welcomed personally and provided with all the information we required for the apartment, local shopping markets, contact phone numbers etc. There are many delicious and well priced local eateries and bottle shops in the immediate area. Claudia is a gracious and generous host - we felt fortunate to have had the experience of staying in her care and would not hesitate to recommend this VRBO.

A true home away from home!

The first minute we walked in the door of this apartment, we loved it! I don't know how to describe it, other than to say it is an utterly charming, cozy and perfect place to spend a holiday. And we did--for six wonderful days. Claudia is a truly thoughtful hostess/owner and it shows. She left a big wooden bowel of scrumptious strawberries for us on the dining room table, along with a bottle of wonderful olive oil from her own presses. (We used every last drop, Claudia!). She also stocked the frig with juice, milk and bottled water. The layout was perfect for our party of three. The furniture has a rustic elegance and the beds are very comfortable. Many towels are provided for guests. The kitchen is well-stocked and beautiful. The patio/balcony is quaint and is also a good place to hang laundry on the large metal rack provided for that purpose. Most of all, Borgo Pinti is a quiet side street, but is within walking distance to EVERY major site in Florence. A well-stocked grocery store is minutes away from the apartment which makes it very convenient for picking up ingredients for meals and also "sundries"--toiletries, paper-towels, etc. This was our fourth apartment rental in Europe and Borgo Pinti was by far our favorite. We will be back! Grazie, Claudia! Clayton and Jaimie Kau and Mark Pentecost from Southern California

It really was a "dream in Florence"

Borgo Pinti 2 just makes me so happy when I type or say that name. I had the distinct pleasure of staying at Cluadia's immaculate and beautifully appointed apartment for the past 19 days. I traveled with my 77 year old mother the first half and my husband joined me the 2nd half. We were visiting our daughter who is studying hospitality in Florence. Location is everything and I was so pleased that we could walk to every single place in Florence that we needed to go i.e. shopping, the Duomo, the Uffitzi, the Acadamia, the Michealangelo Plaza and fabulous restaurants and late nights now and then. . One of the nice surprises is that it is on a one way street which eliminates traffic noise. Also, there are 2 great restaurants close enough to Borgo Pinti if you have had a long day. Also, 2 doors down on the right is a convenient mart that had the important things one needs at the last minute. Two doors down on the left is a great pharmacy in which the pharmacist was able to help my daughter with a pharmacy doctor necessary. Lastly, the pleasure of meeting Claudia and her special people made me realize that I had chosen the best place and the best landlord. She helped arrange a tour through the Chianti country, which was not her job to do. I know that she wants to please her guests and she goes above an beyond to do this. You will be so lucky if you choses to stay at Borgo Pinti!!!

Owner response:Dear Carolyn, thank you so much for your review. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the apartment comfortable. I gave Alessandro the earrings you left and what you want me to give Sydney. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you, your mother, and family once again in the next future. Take care of you and best wishes, Claudia

We had the pleasure of staying in Claudia's beautiful apartment while visiting our daughter who is studying in Florence. We arrived on Christmas day, which we expected to be less than convenient, but Claudia was gracious enough to let our daughter store some food in the kitchen and provide her with a key in advance so that we did not need to disturb anybody's holiday with our arrival. Additionally, the kitchen was stocked with water, juice, coffee, a fresh fruit basket, and wonderful olive oil that Claudia bottles herself. The apartment was spacious enough for the 4 of us to not feel crowded. It was well furnished, with comfortable beds and linens. WiFi, heat, and hot water were all in excellent working order. We were even able to comfortably prepare meals in the kitchen. The location was fabulous...convenient walking distance to everything in Florence, and a true upscale residential neighborhood. Neighborhood restaurants and shops were all very nice. We look forward to staying at Borgo Pinti again on our next visit to Florence.

Owner response:Dear Shelley thank you so much for your beautiful review. I only regret I could not meet you this time. I hope you will be back and then, I am sure, we can meet. I wish you and your family a peaceful, healthy, wonderful 2012.

Fabulous apartment close to everything

Our family of 5 stayed here for a few days while visiting our daughter, a student in Florence. This apartment was everything we hoped for and more! The website descriptions were very accurate. The apartment is very clean, comfortable, spacious, and safe and within walking distance to all sites and restaurants in Florence. The photo of the kitchen doesn't reflect its adequate size and how well appointed it is. We had breakfast there each day and cooked and "Italian Thanksgiving" meal--everything we needed to cook was available. Martina and Keity checked us in and oriented us to the apartment, and had even provided fruits, beverages, and Claudia's own fresh pressed olive oil....simply the best! The cell phone for local use is another example of the special touches Claudia provides to ensure a memorable and comfortable stay. Claudia was available to us at any time and was very responsive and kind when we had questions or concerns. She is a caring and kind landlord and we strongly recommend staying here. Claudia, we love the new photos of beautiful Pietro and your grandchildren!

Borgo Pinti is a small, quiet street, in the part where the traffic is restricted. It is located in the heart of Florence and at the same time, it is not one of the noisy streets full of tourists.....

We had a fantastic time in Florence, which was made even better with this beautiful and well located apartment!

Where are we?

The two delightful flats are just a few steps from Piazza del Duomo, Piazza Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio, and other famous sights and monuments of the city. Shops and restaurants and markets are very close to the Relais.
